Sharon is a highly experienced and successful executive, consultant and non-executive director. Her career spans over twenty-five years in both the public sector (including with the Australian National Audit Office and Northern Territory Governments) and private sector (including Stanton Partners, WalterTurnbull and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)).
Sharon's executive experience has spanned organisational restructures, job design, recruitment and selection training, shared services management, strategic and operational planning, human resource strategy, evaluation and performance management frameworks, facilitation, secretariat and communications, change management, performance auditing, corporate governance and risk services.
As a consultant, Sharon has undertaken assignments for the Commonwealth, Northern Territory and ACT Governments including: capacity building and reform within the health sector; organisational functional assessments to meet changing organisational priorities and machinery of Government changes; development of change and reform priorities; program and governance reviews; and implementation of strategies and activities across multiple teams to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder needs.
Sharon has been the Chair and member of various not-for-profit boards at a local and national level over eight years. Her roles have included: the board for Alzheimer's ACT; Variety the Children’s Charity in the Northern Territory (Member and Chair) and the NT representative on the National Variety Australia Board; President of the Automobile Association of the NT and as a board member of the Automobile Association of Australia, the peak advocacy body for Australia’s motoring clubs.
